Create custom email templates for messages your team sends regularly from Fencify.
Details to prepare
Before creating a template, decide what the message is for and which Fencify records it will support. The template use controls which placeholders are available, so choose the closest match to the message you want to send.
- Template name for your team to recognise.
- Template use, such as quote, project update, invoice or payment receipt.
- Subject line that suits the client message.
- Message body with any needed placeholders.
Creating the template
- Open Email Templates.
- Open Create custom template.
- Enter a clear template name.
- Select the template use.
- Write the subject line and message body.
- Add placeholders where Fencify should insert record details.
- Create the custom template.
Checking placeholders before saving
Use placeholders only where the related record will supply the information. For example, quote emails can use quote number and proposal link, while invoice emails can use invoice number, balance due and due date.
