Generate a quote document

Use Quote Documents to create a PDF from an enabled quote template using the current quote, client, site, neighbour and line item details.

Before generating

Review the quote, customer details, site address, neighbour details where relevant, quote notes and line items. Quote documents use the saved quote context and enabled templates available for quote generation.

Generating the PDF

  1. Open the quote and choose Quote Documents where available.
  2. Review the enabled templates listed on the Quote Documents page.
  3. Select Generate PDF beside the template you want to use.
  4. Fencify renders the template with quote placeholders and stores the generated record.
  5. Open the generated PDF from the history panel if you need to review the output.

Checks before sending or relying on it

Open the generated PDF and confirm the quote number, client details, site address, pricing, inclusions, neighbour details and wording. For notices or formal documents, review the output against your business process and local obligations.
