Public proposal document visibility

Use proposal document visibility to make sure client-facing proposal wording is ready before a customer opens their public quote proposal.

What the client sees

The public proposal can include extra proposal detail cards generated from enabled proposal templates. These cards appear within the proposal page and use the saved quote context to fill supported placeholders.

The default Proposal template is designed for quote details and can include quote number, customer name, site address, quote line items, inclusions and quote notes.

Preparing visible proposal wording

  1. Open Documents and review the Proposal template.
  2. Check that the wording is suitable for customer viewing.
  3. Confirm the template is enabled.
  4. Review the quote details and line items before sending the proposal link.

Follow-up checks for your team

Before sending a proposal, check that customer details, site address, quote notes, included works and pricing are accurate. Proposal document content is pulled from the template and the quote record, so both should be reviewed together.
