Project SWMS
Use Project SWMS to prepare a Safe Work Method Statement record for site work and installer access.
Selecting hazards for the job
The SWMS flow uses the project record and the available hazard catalogue. Select the hazards that apply to the actual work, then generate the document so the project has a stored SWMS record.
Common hazard examples include power tools, manual handling, excavation, sun exposure, work at heights and chemicals, depending on the configured catalogue and selected project needs.
Generating and reviewing the SWMS
- Open the project Operations tab.
- Choose Generate SWMS.
- Select the relevant hazards and controls.
- Generate the PDF.
- Review the document before giving it to the crew or relying on it for site work.
Using SWMS in project delivery
Once generated, the SWMS can be available from the project and installer job sheet. This helps supervisors and installers access the current safety document alongside BYDA status, site plan, materials and milestones.
