Convert an accepted quote to a project
Convert an accepted quote when the work has been won and your team is ready to manage delivery as a project.
Before conversion
The quote must be accepted before it can be converted through the quote page. Review the accepted quote total, lead details, customer contact information and any linked visual plan before creating the project.
Converting the quote
- Open the accepted quote detail page.
- Open the quote action menu.
- Choose Convert to Project.
- Confirm the conversion.
- Open the created project to continue operational setup.
What carries into the project
Fencify creates the project from the accepted quote and linked lead details. The project receives the lead reference, quote reference, customer name, address, suburb, email, phone, material type, site conditions and contract value. Linked visual plans are connected to the new project, and the lead is marked as won and archived.
Project setup checks
- Review the new project name, address and contact details.
- Check the contract value against the accepted quote.
- Open the visual plan if one was linked to the quote.
- Continue with scheduling, files, payment schedule and operations setup.
