Update run measurements
Review and adjust Visual Builder run lengths so the measured plan matches the fence scope before quote pricing.

Update run measurements
Use run measurements to make sure the visual plan reflects the actual fence lengths you intend to quote.
Measurements that affect pricing
Each fence run carries a measured length in metres. When the plan is synced, this length becomes the basis for material and pricing calculations in Quote Builder. Gate openings can reduce the priced fence length when they are attached to a parent run.
The plan summary shows the total measured length while the selected run panel shows the length for the current run.
Adjust a selected run length
- Use select mode and choose the run you want to check.
- Open the Line Options panel for that run.
- Review the displayed length against your site measure or take-off.
- Update the length if the visual sketch needs to match a known measurement.
- Check the plan summary after the change.
Checking gate deductions
Gate openings attached to a fence run are recorded separately and can deduct their width from the parent fence length. Review gate widths after updating run measurements so the final scope has the correct fence length and gate openings.
Measurement checks before syncing
- Confirm every run has a positive measured length.
- Compare the total length with your estimate notes.
- Check each run still has the correct fence model.
- Review attached gate widths where openings are part of the boundary.
