Update a fence model
Update a fence model when its name, fence type, supplier label or bay size needs to match the way your team estimates jobs.
What can be changed
Account-owned fence models can be edited from the Fence Models list. The editable fields include model name, default supplier label, fence type and bay size.
Changing those details updates the model record. Component rules remain managed from the Model Components page, where products and calculation logic are added or removed.
Updating model details
- Open Fence Models.
- Open the row actions for the account-owned model.
- Choose Edit Model.
- Update the model name, supplier label, fence type or bay size.
- Save the model, then review the list to confirm the updated values.
Reviewing the quoting impact
After changing a model, open Edit Components and confirm the product recipe still suits the new setup.
Check bay size carefully because per post and per bay component rules depend on spacing assumptions.
Review active estimates before relying on changed model settings for new quote runs.
