Manage leads with list and status workflow
Use the Leads page as your day-to-day pipeline board so enquiries can move from first contact to quoting with clear status tracking.
Reading your pipeline from the Leads page
The Leads area gives you two views of the same records: a list view and a Kanban board. List view is useful for scanning contact and address detail, while Kanban view is useful for stage movement during the day.
- Default pipeline stages shown in daily view are New, Contacted, Site Visit Scheduled, Quoted, and Follow Up.
- Status filtering lets you check any stage, including won or lost outcomes.
- Search checks name, address, message, phone, suburb, material type, and source.
Finding the right lead quickly
- Open Leads in list view.
- Apply a status filter when you are focusing on one stage.
- Use search to narrow the list by customer name, location, or enquiry wording.
- Open the lead record to review full details before calling, booking, or quoting.
This approach keeps estimators and office staff aligned on which records need action first.
Updating lead stages in Kanban
Use Kanban when you are actively progressing enquiries through the pipeline. Each column represents a status stage, and cards can be moved as work is completed.
- Switch to Kanban view from the Leads header.
- Drag a lead card into the next stage as soon as the outcome changes.
- Confirm the lead appears in the new column and that column counts refresh.
- Open the lead card link whenever you need the full record before the next action.
Actions that keep leads moving
From list actions, you can open the lead directly or start a quote from that lead context. Keeping quote creation linked to the lead helps preserve enquiry history and conversion tracking.
- Use View to continue customer follow-up from the lead record.
- Use Add quote when the enquiry is ready for pricing work.
- Use bulk actions carefully when cleaning up old records.
