Create a team

Create a team workspace when you want to group members before setting up their access and HR details.

Choosing the team name

The add team form asks for a team name. Use a name your office and field staff will recognise, such as Install Crew, Estimators, Admin Team or Subcontractors.

Your plan controls how many teams can be created. If the limit has been reached, the create action is disabled until the account limit changes or an existing team is removed.

Creating the workspace

  1. Open Team Management.
  2. Choose Create Team.
  3. Enter the team name.
  4. Submit Add Team.
  5. After saving, open the new team workspace to invite members.

After the team is created

Fencify creates the team record and opens the team workspace. From there, invite members, review invitation status and set access for the operational modules they need.

Use a consistent naming pattern as your business grows, especially when separating installers, admin users and subcontractor crews.
