Public Proposal and Acceptance
Open a public proposal with the public ID link
Use the proposal link shared from Fencify to open the client-facing quote page, confirm the correct job details, and prepare for a clean acceptance handover.
Opening the proposal from the shared link
Each public proposal page is opened with the proposal's unique public ID. When you send or copy the proposal link from your quote workflow, the client lands on a page that is tied to that specific quote record.
- Copy the proposal link from the quote actions where your team sends the proposal.
- Open that link in a browser to confirm it loads the expected client and quote number.
- Check the headline section for customer name, site address, estimate date, and validity date if shown.
This quick check helps you confirm the client receives the right proposal page before acceptance discussions begin.
What to review on the proposal page
The proposal page presents the practical details your client needs for a decision. Focus on the scope and commercial summary so your team and client are reading the same information.
- Scope of works: fence runs, gates, and included line items shown for the quote.
- Investment summary: subtotal, GST where applicable, total estimate, and payment stages.
- Proposal details: additional proposal documents when they are published for the customer view.
- PDF download: a downloadable version the client can keep for records.
Client response and acceptance options
When the proposal is open for response, the client can proceed through the acceptance panel. If a deposit applies, the proposal displays the payment amount due now and the available payment methods.
- Accept action with digital signature.
- Deposit flow for card, bank, or cash where those options are available.
- Decline action for customers who choose not to proceed.
After acceptance is recorded, the page status updates and the proposal moves forward into project delivery steps in your normal workflow.
Useful checks before sharing with clients
Run a final proposal review from the same public link you intend to send.
- Confirm quote totals and payment stages are current.
- Confirm proposal documents shown to clients are ready for external viewing.
- Confirm bank payment details are accurate if bank deposit is offered.
- Confirm the proposal status is still open when you expect the client to sign.
