Create a quote from a lead
Use the lead record to start quoting as soon as the customer is ready for pricing, then complete the quote details in Quote Builder.
When to start quoting from the lead page
Creating the quote from the lead keeps your enquiry details, quote history and next actions in one workflow. It is a practical step once the lead has enough information for pricing and your team is ready to price fence runs, gates or manual items.
You can launch quote creation from the lead actions menu or from the Quotes panel on the same lead record.
Check the lead details before creating the draft
A quick review on the lead helps prevent rework inside the builder.
- Confirm customer name and contact details are current.
- Confirm address and suburb details are accurate for site and material planning.
- Check the selected fence type and any notes that affect scope.
- Review site survey details so pricing assumptions are based on the latest information.
Create the draft quote from the lead record
- Open the lead you want to price.
- Choose Add Quote from the lead actions menu, or click New Quote in the Quotes card.
- Fencify creates a new draft quote and opens Quote Builder immediately.
The new quote is generated with a quote number and starts in draft status so you can finish pricing before sending it to the customer.
Build the quote in Quote Builder
Quote Builder opens with the lead-linked context, including the customer name and current quote total. From here, add the pricing structure that matches the job:
- Add fence runs with model, run name, length and relevant options such as height, supplier or colour where available.
- Add gate details and manual items where the scope requires them.
- Use Visual Builder from the quote actions area when you want to map or refine run layout alongside the quote.
Review the quote entry back on the lead
Return to the lead to verify the new quote appears in the Quotes table. This list shows the quote number, status, amount and date so the team can track progress from draft to customer decision.
Open the quote from this list whenever you need to continue editing, review status, or prepare the next step in your quoting process.
