Create a lead manually
Capture a new enquiry from phone calls, walk-ins, or follow-up conversations and move straight into lead follow-up or quoting.
Leads and Website Lead Intake
Create a lead manually
Use manual lead entry when an enquiry comes in by phone, message, or direct conversation and you want it in your pipeline immediately.
When manual entry is the best option
Manual lead creation is useful when your team receives an enquiry outside the website form and needs to start follow-up quickly. It keeps the customer details in the same lead workflow as all other enquiries, so quoting and scheduling can happen without delay.
- Phone enquiries from homeowners, builders, or property managers.
- On-site conversations where you collect details directly.
- Callbacks from previous enquiries that still need a formal lead record.
Details worth collecting before you save
A complete first entry reduces back-and-forth later. The form accepts a small set of core details, with room for notes that help estimators prepare for the next step.
- Full Name is required so the lead can be identified clearly.
- Address is required so the job location is ready for site planning.
- Email and Phone are optional, but strongly useful for contact and quote delivery.
- Fence Type should match the requested style based on your current configured options.
- Message / Notes is useful for timing, access notes, or customer priorities.
Create the lead record
- Open the Create Lead page from your leads workflow.
- Enter the customer name and contact details.
- Add the site address and choose the closest fence type for the enquiry.
- Capture any important notes in the message field.
- Click Add Lead to save the record.
After saving, Fencify opens the lead detail page so your team can continue with survey notes, status updates, and quote preparation.
What Fencify records automatically
Manual lead saves apply consistent tracking so every new enquiry starts from the same baseline.
- Source is recorded as Manual.
- The starting lead status is set to New.
