Visual Builder overview

Use Visual Builder when a lead needs a visual fence layout before the quote is priced in detail.

Where Visual Builder fits in quoting

Visual Builder opens from a lead and gives you a grid workspace for sketching the intended fence layout. It is useful during estimating when you want to turn site measurements, run notes and gate openings into structured quote runs.

The plan stays linked to the lead and can be saved into a draft quote. When the plan is synced, Quote Builder receives the runs, gate openings and selected fence details so pricing can continue from the quote screen.

Setting the default fence specification

Start with the Quote Specification panel. Choose the fence model, height, colour and default slope that new lines should use. These defaults apply to the next runs you draw, which helps keep repeated sections consistent.

You can select an individual run later and adjust its model, height, colour or slope before syncing. This is useful when one boundary section needs a different height or construction method.

Reading the plan summary

The summary panel tracks the number of runs, number of gates and total measured length in the current plan. Use these figures as a quick check while estimating, especially after adding gate openings or editing run measurements.

  • Runs counts drawn fence lines.
  • Gates counts gate openings in the plan.
  • Total shows the current measured fence length.

Preparing the plan for pricing

Before syncing, review each selected run and gate. Check the fence model, height, colour, slope and measured length, then confirm gate widths are correct. Once the plan is ready, use the sync action to create or update the linked quote and continue in Quote Builder.
