Use the payment audit information to review how project payments were lodged, applied and reconciled.

Payment history on the project

The project financials area lists payment records linked to the project. A payment can be connected to an invoice, a variation or the wider project balance. The history shows amount, method, date, notes, references and applied status where available.

Pending public portal payments

When a client uses the public portal to lodge a bank transfer or cash payment, Fencify records it as pending. Your team should verify the funds or collection before applying that payment to the correct invoice.

  1. Review the pending payment amount and method.
  2. Select the invoice that the payment applies to.
  3. Confirm the transaction reference or note.
  4. Apply the payment once your records support it.

Event trail and reconciliation checks

Payment event records help show whether a payment action was applied, ignored, rejected or failed. Use these records when a client says they attempted a payment, when a duplicate action appears, or when an invoice status needs review.
