Update a team member

Update a member record when their role, access, profile information, HRM details or compliance files change.

What can be updated

The update page can edit team role, member type, access permissions, personal profile details, address details, emergency contact information, employment fields, bank and superannuation details, compliance documents, HR documents, induction date, review date and HR notes.

The member email shown on the record identifies the invited or accepted member in the team list.

Updating the record

  1. Open the team workspace.
  2. Choose Edit from the member action menu.
  3. Open the section that needs attention.
  4. Update the details or upload replacement files.
  5. Review the access matrix if responsibilities changed.
  6. Submit Update Team Member.

Checks after saving

Return to the team workspace and review the permission badges. For delegated users, role and member type can affect financial visibility as well as module access, so check those fields before the person uses the delegated workspace.
