Add a team member

Invite a person to a team and capture the access, contact and HRM details your business needs for that member.

Before sending the invitation

Open the team workspace and choose Invite Member. The invited email address is required and must be different from your own account email. Fencify also checks that the same email has not already been invited to that team.

Your plan controls how many members can be added to a team. If the member limit has been reached, the invite action is disabled from the team workspace.

Member details to capture

The form can hold personal profile details, contact details, residential and postal address, emergency contact details, employment information, pay rate fields, bank and superannuation fields, compliance records and HR documents.

Choose the team role and member type before saving. These settings help shape access and financial visibility for delegated users.

Sending the invitation

  1. Open the team workspace.
  2. Select Invite Member.
  3. Enter the member email address.
  4. Choose team role, member type and access permissions.
  5. Add HRM, compliance and contact details that are ready.
  6. Submit Add Team Member to send the invitation.

After the invite is sent

The team member appears in the team list with invitation status. If the email belongs to an existing Fencify user, they receive a sign-in path. Otherwise, they receive a registration path for accepting the invitation.
