Resolve a selected address
Address resolution happens after you choose a suggestion, giving Fencify the structured address details it can place into matching fields on the form.
What resolution adds to the form
When you select an address suggestion, Fencify requests the full address details for that selection. The resolved result can include the formatted street address, suburb, state, postcode, latitude, longitude and an address reference.
Forms use the details they support. A lead form may only need the street address and suburb, while billing or operational forms may also show state and postcode fields.
Using resolved details on lead and project records
Lead and project address fields are used by the people planning visits, preparing quotes and arranging install work. Resolving the address helps keep the site location consistent from enquiry through delivery.
- Type into the address field until suggestions appear.
- Select the matching address from the list.
- Review the populated suburb, state or postcode fields when shown.
- Save the form once the site details match the customer record.
When to review the resolved address
Check the resolved address carefully when the customer gives a unit number, lot number, rural address, new estate address or a suburb boundary that may have similar street names nearby.
- Confirm the suburb and postcode match the job location.
- Add missing unit, lot or access notes elsewhere on the record if the form provides a place for them.
- Use the customer supplied address as the final source when there is any doubt.
Keeping field records accurate
Resolved address details support practical scheduling and quoting work. A cleaner address record helps the office team book visits, helps estimators understand the site, and helps supervisors open the right project details later.
