Onboarding and Configuration

Configure public portal branding

Use public portal branding to apply your logo and colour palette across client-facing proposal pages and public project portal screens.

When to update portal branding

Review these settings when you first set up your account, after a logo refresh, or whenever your business colours change. Keeping this section current helps clients and installers see a consistent presentation when they open shared proposal and portal pages.

This is also useful before a busy quoting period so every new public-facing record starts with the same visual identity.

Branding fields to prepare first

  • Business logo: uploaded logo used on client-facing pages and related document branding areas.
  • Accent colour: primary action and highlight colour for portal actions and progress accents.
  • Accent text colour: text colour shown on accent buttons and badges.
  • Header colour: main background colour used in public portal headers.
  • Header text colour: heading and contractor detail text colour shown on header backgrounds.

Have your colour hex values ready in full format, for example #DFFF00, so the values save cleanly.

Update branding in Configuration

  1. Open Configuration and go to the business setup step.
  2. Upload or replace your business logo.
  3. Enter your portal accent and accent text colours.
  4. Enter your portal header and header text colours.
  5. Save the changes so the branding becomes your account default for public portal experiences.

Use the live portal preview before saving

The preview panel updates while you edit, so you can confirm logo visibility, header readability, and accent clarity before finalising. Check both the portal header area and action accent styling to confirm the palette is balanced.

If your logo appears small or crowded, adjust the uploaded logo file and recheck the preview so the mark remains clear in compact header layouts.

After saving

New and existing public pages that read your current account branding will display the updated logo and portal colours. This includes proposal presentation areas and public project portal views used by clients and installers.

  • Recheck branding after changing trading name or contact details.
  • Keep one approved palette for team consistency.
  • Review branding before sending high-value proposals to ensure presentation matches your business standards.
