Project milestones
Use milestones to track practical installation progress and show when a project is moving toward handover.
Default construction stages
When a project has no milestone records yet, Fencify seeds a practical default sequence: Site Prep / Holes Dug, Posts Set & Levelled, Fencing Installed, and Site Cleaned / Final Inspection. These stages give your team a simple progress structure for common fencing jobs.
Updating milestone progress
- Open the project record.
- Review the milestone list in the project page or installer job sheet.
- Mark a stage complete once that work is genuinely finished.
- Use progress notes where the installer needs to explain the update.
The installer job sheet enforces milestone order, so earlier stages are completed before later ones are marked off.
Milestones and handover readiness
Completed milestones drive the handover status shown on the project overview and public project portal. When every milestone is complete, the project can move into client handover and sign-off workflows.
