Update team details
Update a team name when the workspace label should match the way your crew or office team is now organised.
When to rename a team
Use the team update page when a team name needs to change. Common examples include renaming a crew, separating admin and estimating work, or making a subcontractor team label clearer.
The update form focuses on the team name. Member invitations, member records and permissions are managed from the team workspace and team member forms.
Updating the team name
- Open Team Management.
- Choose the action menu for the team and select Edit.
- Update the Name field.
- Submit Update.
- Return to the team workspace and confirm the new label is clear for your team.
Checking member access after changes
A team rename can change how staff understand their workspace. After saving, review the member list and permission counts, especially for teams with installers, supervisors or subcontractors who only need limited operational access.
