Visual Builder
Edit fence runs
Edit a drawn run when a boundary section needs a different specification, name or measured length before quoting.
Selecting the run to adjust
Use select mode, then choose the drawn run on the grid. Visual Builder highlights the selected run and opens its details in the Line Options panel. This panel is where you review and adjust the run before it becomes part of the quote.
Run details you can change
- Run name helps identify the boundary section later in Quote Builder.
- Length controls the measured fence quantity sent into the quote.
- Fence model controls the material recipe used for pricing.
- Height and colour carry through to the run details.
- Slope records whether the section is flat, raked or stepped.
Editing a run safely
- Select the run you want to adjust.
- Update the run name if the current label is too generic.
- Check the measured length against your take-off or site notes.
- Change the model, height, colour or slope where that section differs from the defaults.
- Review the plan summary after each change.
Removing a run from the plan
If a selected run should be excluded, use the delete action in the Line Options panel. After removing it, check the run count and total length so the plan still matches the intended fence scope.
