Nudge or follow up a quote

Use a quote nudge when a customer needs a polite reminder to review or respond to a sent proposal.

When to send a nudge

Nudges are available for open quotes that are still waiting on a response. They use the quote follow-up email template and include the secure proposal link so the customer can review the quote online.

Sending the follow-up

  1. Open the quote detail page.
  2. Check the quote status and customer email.
  3. Choose the nudge client action.
  4. Confirm that you want to send the follow-up email.
  5. Review the follow-up panel after sending.

Reading follow-up activity

The follow-up panel shows the last nudge date, total nudges sent, current follow-up status, next automatic follow-up time and sent count against the configured maximum. This helps you see whether a quote still needs manual attention.

Practical follow-up checks

  • Check the customer email before sending another nudge.
  • Review recent customer contact notes outside Fencify where relevant.
  • Pause or adjust the follow-up schedule if the customer has already responded by phone.
