Where a run starts

A run represents a measured section of fence. In Quote Builder, each new run needs a fence model and a length greater than zero. Depending on the selected model setup, you may also choose height, colour, supplier or other recipe fields.

Adding the run details

1. Open the quote in Quote Builder.
2. Enter a clear run name, such as Front boundary or Left side.
3. Select the fence model that matches the work being quoted.
4. Enter the measured run length.
5. Set the available height, colour, supplier or notes fields.
6. Attach gates if the run includes gate openings.
7. Add the run and let Fencify calculate the generated items.

Gate openings on a new run

When gate products are available for the selected fence type, height and colour, the gate controls let you attach gate openings to the run. Gate widths are checked against the measured boundary length before the run is saved.

Checks after adding

• Review the run row and any attached gates.
• Check the bill of materials for generated products and labour.
• Confirm the quote total updated as expected.
• Review unusual measurements before sending the quote.
