Document template editor
Use the template editor to control the title, body wording and enabled status used when Fencify generates a document from a quote or project.
Template fields to review
The editor shows the template title, body and enabled switch. The title can include merge fields, which means a generated document title can include project, quote or customer details where the placeholder is available.
The body supports basic HTML such as headings, paragraphs, lists and tables. Unsafe script-style content is stripped when saved.
Updating wording safely
- Open the template from Documents.
- Adjust the template title if the generated document needs clearer naming.
- Edit the body wording and insert placeholders where live project or quote information should appear.
- Keep the template enabled when it should appear in generation screens.
- Select Save Template to store the updated wording.
Restoring default wording
Use Reset to Default when you want the template body restored to the Fencify default. This replaces the custom body wording for that template while leaving other templates unchanged.
