When to update a run

Edit a run after a site visit, measurement correction, product change or gate adjustment. The run update process keeps the quote tied to the selected fence model and rebuilds generated items from the latest run details.

Changing run measurements and attributes

1. Open the quote in Quote Builder.
2. Use the run action menu to edit the run.
3. Update the run name, model, measured length or available attributes.
4. Review attached gates and adjust widths or products where needed.
5. Save the updated run.

What updates after saving

Fencify updates the run, saves the current attributes, rebuilds generated material and labour items, recalculates the quote total and records a quote revision. Gate openings attached to a run are saved with the run and can affect the net length used for pricing.

Practical estimating checks

• Check that the edited run still uses the correct fence model.
• Confirm gate widths stay within the measured boundary length.
• Review the bill of materials after large measurement changes.
• Recheck the quote total before sending or accepting the quote.
