Review financial visibility restrictions
Use financial visibility checks when a delegated user needs access to money-related Fencify areas.
Where financial visibility applies
Financial visibility affects dashboard financial cards, quote totals, project financial panels, invoices, payments, variations, job costing, purchase orders, labour rates, invoicing and integration areas.
For delegated users, Fencify combines module access with role and member type checks before showing financial records and finance navigation.
Role and member type checks
Financial visibility is available to delegated users when the team member is set as an admin role and staff member type. This should be reviewed carefully before granting access to finance-heavy workflows.
- Use admin staff access for trusted office or management users who need financial records.
- Use narrower access for installers and subcontractors who only need operational job information.
- Review permissions again when a person moves between office, supervisor and field responsibilities.
Practical access review
- Open the team member update page.
- Confirm team role and member type.
- Review read, create, update and delete permissions for quotes, projects and invoicing.
- Check whether finance navigation and financial panels should be visible for that member.
- Save the record and review permission counts from the team workspace.
Follow-up checks
Review financial access when staff change roles, subcontractors finish work or a delegated user starts handling invoicing, estimating or job costing. Keep access aligned with the financial information the person genuinely needs for their work.
