Update a supplier
Update suppliers when contact details, ordering information or lead-time assumptions change.
Details worth reviewing
Supplier details can affect how your team recognises products, follows up orders and plans material timing. Review the supplier name, email, phone, address, label colour and lead-time days before saving.
Lead-time days should reflect a practical planning assumption. If supplier availability changes often, review this value before relying on it for project scheduling.
Editing a supplier
- Open Supplier Management.
- Choose Edit Supplier from the supplier row.
- Update the name, email, phone, address, lead-time days or label colour.
- Save the supplier and confirm the list shows the new details.
Follow-up after supplier changes
Check key products linked to that supplier if the change relates to pricing or catalogue ordering.
Review fence models that use the supplier as a default label.
If a supplier is no longer used, check linked records before deleting it.
